Villa Guide
– Everything for a carefree stay at Villa Carolina –
Welcome to Villa Carolina. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we have collected the most important instructions and practical tips here. This way, everything is at hand and your enjoyment on Bonaire can begin.
Arrival & Hospitality
Upon arrival at the park, you will receive a warm welcome from Milly. She will provide a tour of the villa and is your main point of contact throughout your stay. If a personal welcome is not possible, the key will be left in the key safe, located two meters from the front door. The access code will be shared in advance.
Parking & Access
On the left side of the park, there are six parking spaces reserved exclusively for guests of Park Ayo. The entrance gate is equipped with a code lock for optimal privacy and security. This code will be shared before arrival. Please note: the gate locks automatically once it closes.
Wi-Fi
Upon arrival, you will find a QR code next to the router by the door. Scan it with your phone to log in instantly. The Wi-Fi details are also listed in the welcome folder on the cabinet next to the front door.
Climate & Ventilation
- Air Conditioning: Instructions for the AC are posted directly next to the unit.
- Ceiling Fans: The bathroom fan is operated by the switch next to the light. In the living room, the controller is located near the router; turn the knob to adjust the fan speed.
- Pro Tip: For a natural breeze, we recommend opening the shutters; Bonaire’s trade winds will do the rest.
Kitchen Appliances
- Coffee & Tea: A classic drip coffee maker is available. The kettle operates with a single press of a button.
- Oven & Microwave: Next to the microwave (instructions on the unit) is a compact oven that is easy to operate with the dial.
- Cooking: The ceramic hob works with an intuitive touch system to easily adjust the heat settings.
- Dishwasher: For maximum convenience; operated via the central power button.
Pool Relaxation
- Lighting: Pool lighting is fully automated. It turns on in the evening and off during the night.
- Sunbeds: Three beige sunbeds are available for sunbathing. Additionally, the two black chairs can easily be converted into comfortable loungers.
Outdoor & Diving
Bonaire is a diving paradise, and Villa Carolina is equipped for it. By the outdoor shower, there is a special hook for rinsing and hanging your gear. You can also use the large black tub to soak equipment in fresh water. If you cannot find it, please ask our host Milly. After rinsing, gear (such as your BCD) can be hung to dry in the shaded laundry area on the right side of the villa.
Waste Management
The trash bin is emptied every Tuesday. Please place the green bin by the roadside on Tuesday morning before 09:00 AM. Note: avoid putting the bin out the night before to prevent local donkeys from scattering the contents.
