-Reservations and Payments -

  • How can I make a reservation?
    You can easily make a reservation through our website. After selecting your preferred dates, you can pay instantly and securely with your credit or debit card via our Stripe payment system. During the booking process, you can also add any questions or indicate if you would like to make use of our extra services (such as car rental or the full-fridge service).
  • What are the payment terms?
    When booking Villa Carolina, we require a deposit of 25% of the total amount. This deposit must be paid within 24 hours to officially secure your booking. The remaining balance must be settled no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
  • Can I cancel my reservation?
    We understand that plans can change. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. For cancellations between 30 and 14 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days of arrival, no refund can be issued.

Please note: for payments made in a currency other than Euros, exchange rate differences or transaction fees may apply.

  • Is there a minimum stay requirement?
    The minimum stay for a booking is 7 days, up to a maximum of 90 days. Would you like to stay even longer? We’d love to have you! Please contact us directly so we can discuss the possibilities together.

- Arrival & Departure-

  • What time can I check in and check out?
    You are more than welcome to check in from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to check out by 11:00 AM at the latest. Would you like to arrive a bit earlier or stay a little longer? Please let our host Milly know! We are happy to see what is possible based on availability (additional costs may apply).
  • How do I get the keys to the holiday home?
    Our host Milly is ready to give you a warm welcome at Park Ayo Bonaire (Kaya Den Haag 35). She will hand over the keys and show you around. Therefore, it is very important to let Milly know in advance what time you expect to arrive at Villa Carolina. This way, you won't have to wait and your vacation can start immediately!
  • What should I do when checking out?
    We kindly ask you to pack all personal belongings, do the dishes, and remove the trash before departure. Milly will stop by for the check-out and a final walkthrough of the house to ensure everything is left in good order. She will also collect the keys from you.
  • Can I request a late check-out?
    If your flight leaves late, we understand how nice it is to take it easy and enjoy your final day at Ayo Bonaire. If availability allows (meaning no new guests are arriving that afternoon), a late check-out is certainly possible! the cost for this is €65 / $75. This can be settled via payment link, bank transfer, or in cash through Milly.
  • Can I extend my stay?
    Want to stay a bit longer? We’d love to have you! Please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our very best to accommodate your request, depending on our current availability.

- Facilities & Amenities -

  • What is included in the holiday home?
    Our holiday homes are fully equipped with a kitchen, bed linen, towels, free Wi-Fi, and a television. Additionally, we provide some books and games for entertainment. Please check the property description for full details.
  • Is parking available?
    Yes, Park Ayo Bonaire has private parking space for 6 cars.
  • Are pets allowed?
    In principle, pets are not allowed. However, if you would like to stay at Villa Carolina with a small dog, please ask us and we might be able to make an exception!
  • Are cribs or high chairs available?
    Yes, there is 1 crib available.
  • Is there a washing machine available?
    There is a brand-new washing machine available on-site.
  • Is there a BBQ available?
    No, there is no BBQ on-site. Tip: a disposable BBQ could be an option. Please use it in a spot that won't leave burn marks.
  • Is the house cool?
    Certainly! There is a wonderful breeze at Villa Carolina all day long. All bedroom windows and the doors on the front terrace are equipped with shutters that you can open to let the wind blow through the house. Additionally, every bedroom has brand-new air conditioning, and the living room is equipped with a large fan.
  • Is the house easily accessible for people with mobility issues?
    To enter Villa Carolina, there is a small staircase of 2 steps. Villa Carolina itself is single-story, and every room is easily accessible.
  • Are the bedrooms well-darkened?
    The bedroom windows are equipped with roller blinds that keep most of the light out. When the sun is shining brightly, a small amount of light may peek through the edges.
  • Are there air conditioners and fans in Villa Carolina?
    Every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. All bathrooms and the living room feature a fan. There is also a portable fan available in the house. Wonderfully cool!
  • Are there smoke detectors present?
    Yes, there are several smoke detectors installed—safety first!
  • Is there a television in Villa Carolina?
    The living room features a SMART TV where you can watch television and stream your favorite series and movies via Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other platforms. Simply log in with your own account details and enjoy your favorite programs.

- During your stay -

  • What should I do if a problem arises during my stay?
    Don’t worry! If anything isn't quite right, please contact our host Milly immediately. She is on hand to resolve any issues quickly and smoothly.
  • Are there supermarkets or restaurants nearby?
    Definitely! You’re in a great location. There are several excellent restaurants and large supermarkets just a few minutes' drive from Villa Carolina.
  • Is the house cleaned before arrival?
    Absolutely. The house is professionally and thoroughly cleaned before every guest arrives. If you’d like an extra cleaning service during your stay, we can arrange this for an additional fee.
  • How often is the house cleaned?
    For stays longer than 2 weeks, we schedule a full interim cleaning. This includes fresh bed linen and towels. The cost for this service is €110 / $120.
  • What are the opening hours of the nearest supermarket?
    The main supermarkets are open daily:
    – Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
    – Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • When is trash collected?
    The garbage truck comes every Tuesday morning around 09:00 AM. We recommend putting the green bin out early Tuesday morning – the local donkeys love a snack and might knock the bins over if they are left out overnight!
